Four of the six Microsoft MVPs CTGlobal have on staff were up for and have been awarded renewal for the 2020/2021 term. CTGlobal’s MVPs cover the categories of “Enterprise Mobility”, “Microsoft Azure” and “Cloud & Datacenter Management”

Copenhagen, Denmark – July 2 2020 –CTGlobal, the expert consultancy and development company focused on cloud, data center, security and enterprise client management, is very glad to announce the renewal of the Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) awards to the MVPs delivering solutions to CTGlobal’s customers.

CTGlobal have six MVPs on staff, four of whom were up for — and received — renewal this month.

“We are very happy to have so many MVPs on the CTGlobal team. The status underlines their expertise, of course, but also their passion, and their ability to share and absorb the technology tendencies that are trending in the communities. We prioritize engaging with the Microsoft communities because it keeps us on our toes, and constantly challenges our practices and models. This is of great value to our customers, because it is their guarantee that we are on top of the many different directions technology is moving in. As a result, we are able to guide them in the right direction, without risking costly detours along the way,” explains Peter Odgaard, CTGlobal CEO.

The MVP status is awarded to technology experts with a deep knowledge of Microsoft products and services – experts who continuously demonstrate the ability to bring together diverse platforms, products and solutions, to solve real world problems, and who enthusiastically share their knowledge with the community.
“To have MVPs who, between them, cover cloud and endpoint management disciplines so effectively, means that we are able to address precisely the challenge a lot of our customers — and enterprises around the world, generally — are facing: The move from on-prem endpoint management and storage to a cloud-based future,” concludes Peter Odgaard.

The four MVPs who have just been renewed are: Andreas Sobczyk, MVP in Microsoft Azure; Jakob Gottlieb Svendsen, MVP in Cloud and Datacenter Management; Kent Agerlund, Regional Director and MVP in Enterprise Mobility; and Marius Skovli MVP in Enterprise Mobility.

Microsoft on the role of MVPs

MVPs make up a global community of over 4,000 technical experts and community leaders across 90 countries/regions and are driven by their passion, community spirit, and quest for knowledge. Above all and in addition to their amazing technical abilities, MVPs are always willing to help others – that’s what sets them apart. For over 20 years, the Microsoft MVPs have played a vital role in the support, advancement and adoption of our technologies. Today there are more than 4,000 MVPs globally, and many of them now design, build and innovate across multiple platforms, devices and technologies-including open source, creating holistic solutions and helping others to do the same.

Microsoft on the MVP Award Technology Structure

In this mobile-first, cloud-first world, the ability to recognize the broad array of community contributions MVPs make across cutting edge technologies and constant innovation is essential. The MVP Award structure is designed to align with Microsoft’s top priorities, while at the same time, allowing us to be agile with the pace of innovation, changes in the market and wide range of contributions you make in the communities today.

We award MVPs in Award Categories which encompass a great number of Developer and IT Pro focused technology areas-including open source. Our Award Categories are specifically designed at a high level for durability and enablement of broad contribution recognition of MVPs in these technology areas.
