The latest addition to the Security Team has a degree in cyber security and skills in a wide range of disciplines
Copenhagen, Denmark – October 6, 2021 – CTGlobal, the IT consultancy and development company focused on cloud, data center, security and enterprise client management, and six times Microsoft Gold Partner and Azure Advanced Specialization Partner, today announced that Benjamin Anyembe has joined the Security Team as Junior Consultant.
IT security is always a headache, in private and public sector organizations alike. And with the emergence and spread of cloud technology, IT security has become a greater pain than ever before. As trusted advisor to organizations in both sectors and across most industries, CTGlobal’s consultants are met with three primary concerns: Are we secure enough? How do we check and document that we are secure enough? How do we right-size our IT security investment? To help ask and answer those questions, CTGlobal has added Benjamin Anyembe to the team as Junior Security Consultant. With a degree in cyber security and a background in companies like management consulting firm Deloitte and IT security company Dubex, Benjamin Anyembe has a good understanding of the concerns and business requirements of CTGlobal’s customers.
The synergy of cloud
Originally very fascinated with (white hat!) hacking, Benjamin has shifted his attention to cloud security:
“I have become increasingly excited about cloud, the more I’ve dived into it. The great potential for creating synergy that is inherent in cloud technology makes for a very creative and efficient approach to security. The ability to drive improvement through correct product integration is very rewarding, and allows security teams to really improve security at a fundamental level,” explains Benjamin Anyembe.
As junior consultant, Benjamin is ‘doing the rounds’ internally, with CTGlobal’s security and cloud teams, picking up certifications and getting his hands dirty in a number of projects, alongside the senior consultants.
“I look forward to taking in a lot of new learning. Working with an industry expert such as Henrik Lei, with his clear vision of what good security is all about, is a great opportunity, and I am very happy to be part of the team,” he says.
Good combo of security, tech and business savvy
“Benjamin is a great addition to our Security Team. An important part of security is to identify the competencies and processes that need to be in place to build and uphold a strong security posture, and Benjamin is able to ask the right questions to establish an organization’s strengths and weaknesses, and ascertain the best way forward. On top of his security background and technical skills, he is the right amount of business savvy to be a very good fit for us,” says Henrik C. Lei, Director of Security and Identity at CTGlobal.
At CTGlobal, Benjamin will be focusing on mapping customers’ security maturity levels, to establish the appropriate mix of technologies and competencies to strengthen the organization’s security posture.
